Five accomplished leaders from healthcare, business and academia have been appointed to Chamberlain College of Nursing’s Board of Trustees.
Rhonda Anderson, Connie Curran, Susan Groenwald, William Hughson and Nancy Valentine join the institutional governing body for Chamberlain, overseeing academic, operational and financial policies.
“The board members have extensive knowledge on issues in higher education and the nursing profession that will help to further Chamberlain’s mission of providing a superior nursing education,” said Joanne Disch, PhD, RN, FAAN, chair of the board. “This industry expertise will guide their oversight of Chamberlain’s academic affairs and ensure the evolving needs of the students nationwide are met.”
The board’s responsibilities include advancing Chamberlain’s vision and mission, establishing new or changing existing academic programs and providing expertise on the nursing profession and on issues that impact the healthcare industry.
