military friendly nursing school

We are pleased to announce that Chamberlain College of Nursing has been included in the “2013 Guide to Military Friendly Schools,” an annual list from G.I. Jobs magazine!

The list honors the top 15 percent of colleges and universities that demonstrate their commitment to recruiting, retaining and supporting military personnel and veterans to ensure their success.

“Chamberlain is committed to serving the needs of military students and their families to advance their level of education and prepare them for future success,” said U.S. Air Force veteran Wendy Proffitt, national senior manager of military affairs at Chamberlain. “Being recognized as a ‘Military Friendly School’ by G.I. Jobs is a great testament to our dedication and support of military students.”

At Chamberlain, special military tuition rates are available for Chamberlain’s post licensure programs. Specialists partner with each student to provide academic and financial advice specific to the needs of the military. The application fee is waived for military students, and military training and experience may be accepted toward college credits.
