Heather Knouff currently teaches pathophysiology at the Chamberlain College of Nursing Addison campus.
Nursing background: Before Chamberlain I worked at Central DuPage Hospital in their ICU. I consider myself to be a critical care nurse and have spent most of my career caring for the cardiac and open heart surgery population.
Family information: I am married and I have two girls, ages 4 and 1. I also have two dogs and two cats.
Hobbies: I love to read. Also, if I get the time to do it, I love to take pictures and scrapbook.
Teaching philosophy: I truly believe that every student has the capability to be successful, and I will do whatever I need to do to make that happen, including making class less about the lecture and more about trying something new.
Words of wisdom for students: We believe in you. Keep that final goal in your mind at all times and utilize all the resources available to you to make that goal a reality.
