News and upcoming events from the Student Nurses Association (SNA) and Student Government Association (SGA).

Student Nurses Association (SNA)

SNA is looking for new members and people interested in having a board position for the next school year. If you are interested in applying for a position on the SNA board, please email Tia or Vanessa at tia.marriott@my.chamberlain.edu or vanessa.engel@my.chamberlain.edu

We would like to say thank you for the overwhelming response to our red carnation sale that was held on Feb. 6. It was great interacting with our fellow students and keeping the SNA pride going on campus. We also had a donation drive for the Nationwide Children’s Hospital NICU. We collected blankets, books, notebooks, tissues and other items that are essential for parents with children in the NICU. We appreciate our students and staff going above and beyond to help those in need.

Our SNA meetings are held the first Monday and third Thursday of every month in room 126 at 12 pm. Please join us for free food and drinks and find out ways you can gain the professional skills that the nursing industry demands. We hope to see you there!

Student Government Association (SGA)

We want to thank you for the wonderful success of our Heart Healthy Lunch and Flower Sale that was held on Feb. 13. All proceeds from the flower sale went to purchasing more carnations for Wexner Heritage House, a long term care facility. We were proud to share our Chamberlain pride with our community and help give back to one of our clinical facilities. “Go Red for Women’s Health,” held in February, raised a lot of awareness on campus.

We are working towards arranging more volunteer opportunities for the student body. If you are interested in being put on our list to be contacted about future events, please email us at SGAColumbus@chamberlain.edu.

Congratulations to our most recent Chamberlain graduates! We wish you the best of luck in your promising nursing careers!
