This Memorial Day, we’d like to thank all those who have served our nation, and remember the military nurses who have cared for and comforted soldiers in action.

Throughout the ages, nurses have played an essential role in times of war. The founder of modern nursing, Florence Nightingale, rose to prominence as a nurse during the Crimean War, where she earned the moniker, “The Lady with the Lamp.”
