Professor Tina Pettus had the opportunity to take 17 Chamberlain students to assist with the intake of students for the Florida Youth Challenge Academy. Our students were responsible for taking health and social histories, vital signs, BMI, vision and lice screenings and urine pregnancy testing on approximately 200 young men and women. Their assistance was greatly appreciated by the staff of FLYCA and helped make the process much more efficient.
Carlisa Morris, BSN, RN, graduated from Chamberlain College of Nursing’s Jacksonville campus in March 2012. While at Chamberlain, Morris worked as a peer tutor at the Center for Academic Success. She is now employed as a registered nurse on a chest pain observation unit at Baptist Hospital in Jacksonville. READ MORE
